Hello and Welcome to my Sama-Sama-Blog!

This blog started in 2007 because I wanted to share my work on the internet to make friends, share useful comments and improve my skills in Illustration and design.

Making this blog has been a great way of getting in contact with other people with the same interest as me, and to force myself to keep working and getting better everyday!

So, what started as a design and illustration site, has now evolved including 3D and computer graphics, and experiments mixing all the techniques I have learned so far.

Nowadays this blog is like my working diary. I will continue updating my works, and sharing them with you to share comments and critics, and expand our knowledge and contacts.

I began my studies in Industrial Design Engineering in the UPV - Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, Spain, in 2004. There, I joined the ETSID school magazine as graphic designer, and thanks to that experience, I got very interested in design, Illustration and Comic.

In 2007 I obtained an Erasmus grant to study abroad at EVTEK Institute of Art and Design of Helsinki – Finland, where for an academic standpoint, I began my studies on Graphic Design and Multimedia.

In 2008 I went back to Spain to graduate, and I acquired the University Degree in Industrial Design Engineering and started the Master Degree in Graphic Design MAG, which got completed during 2009.

Later on 2009, I got interested in 3D and computer Graphics and I took a course, where I obtained the Autodesk 3D Studio Max Official Certificate, allowing me to learn new skills in 3D Modeling and Rendering, Animation and the creation of 2D-3D characters.

To complete my Graphic Designer and 3D Artist formation, I took an advanced course in Photography.

In October the 6th of 2009, I started the freelance studio of Art and Design under the name of Sama-Sama-studio - an Indonesian set phrase often used in business, which means "I'm happy, you are happy"- and I have been involved in some freelance projects while simultaneously working in various companies.

In 2010 I moved to Japan -where I started as Researcher in the computer vision laboratory at the University of Tsukuba doing 3D datasets such as the New Tsukuba Stereo Dataset (2010 to 2013)- and from 2014 I have devoted myself to sama-sama-studio while continue developing my skills as 3D Artist, hoping to master them to create and publish my projects soon enough :)

We are currently working on our first professional product, with the code name "Project Abyssmo". Really soon will need a hand with the funding and when the time is right we will start a project in Kickstarter and other fund raising websites.
